The Chevening Scholarship is a global scholarship programme by the United Kingdom government, that offers future leaders the opportunity to pursue a fully funded post-graduate degree in the UK. The selection process for the scholarship aims to recognise "high-calibre graduates with the personal, intellectual and interpersonal qualities necessary for leadership."
Asked about the Scholarship and the role that NUJS played in his life, Mr. Khan said, "My time at NUJS was incredibly memorable and rewarding. I still think of Kolkata as my second home. The atmosphere was always electric and the batches that we shared our time with were brilliant and inspiring. NUJS dominated the mooting rosters across the country at the time I was there, the legal-academic seminars and research taking place at NUJS were top class and we had amazing opportunities made available to us, both domestically and internationally. It was a wonderful place that allowed us to grow and thrive. Needless to say, NUJS has played a major role in our lives and careers."
We congratulate Mr. Muhammad Ali Khan for this exemplary feat, and take pride in his achievement. We wish him the very best in all his future endeavours and hope that he joins us soon!
