The team would like to thank their coaches, Saniya Mirani (Batch of 2019), Shreyas Shridhar (Batch of 2021) and Puneet Ganapathy (Batch of 2014) for all their assistance throughout.
The Willem C. Vis East Commercial Arbitration Moot began in 2003. The goal of the Vis Moot is to foster the study of international commercial law and arbitration for the resolution of international business disputes and to train law leaders of tomorrow in methods of alternative dispute resolution. Each year, the problem involves consideration of the UNCITRAL Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) and other commercial laws in the context of arbitration. Alongside the Willem C. Vis Vienna moot, it is one of the largest moots in the world and is considered a grand slam or major moot.
We congratulate the team on their dedication and amazing performance, and wish them the best on all their future endeavours.
