NUJS wins the NLS-Trilegal International Arbitration Moot 2017

In a further addition to this year's mooting achievements, a University team comprising of Ayana Banerjee, Unnati Jhunjhunwala, Aastha Sharma and Amrit Singh has won the 10th Edition of the NLS-Trilegal International Arbitration Moot, hosted this week in Bangalore from the 11th to 14th May, 2017.

The National Law School Trilegal International Arbitration Moot is an initiative of NLSIU Bangalore to increase student engagement with international arbitration law and practice. As India’s only arbitration moot, it provides students with a unique opportunity to gain a working understanding of arbitration through a simulated version of arbitral proceedings. The Moot has steadily garnered a reputation as one which deals with the most cutting-edge issues in contemporary arbitration law and attracts participation from more than 40 teams from India and abroad.

With the win, the participants have secured an internship offer at the Secretariat of the renowned International Arbitration Centre in Singapore, apart from prizes worth over INR 1.5 lakhs.

We once again congratulate the winning team and wish them the very best in their future endeavours.
