Giving a brilliant start to our mooting achievements for this academic year, the University team comprising of Amrit Mahal, Keshav Pareek, Priyattama Bhanj and Devashri Mishra has won the 3rd annual GNLU Securities and Investment Law Moot held at Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar this week from 8th to 10th September, 2017.
Since its inception in 2015, GNLUMSIL has garnered much praise for filling a void in the Indian mooting scene by providing an opportunity for research and student advocacy in the field of securities and investment law. In a short span, the moot has come to establish itself as a quality platform for law students to parley and learn more about the subject, witnessing 26 and 30 teams vie for the top spot in the first and second editions respectively.
Along with the winning trophy and cash prize of fifty thousand, Amrit Mahal from the 5th year also bagged the award for the Best Speaker.
We congratulate all the members of the winning team for this phenomenal achievement and also the Moot Court Society for this brilliant start to another great year at mooting!
