Bringing in more accolades to the NUJS Moot Court Society, a team comprising of Vinayak Chawla, Rashika Narain, Manjari Rathor and Malika Nanduru has won the the 9th Justice Hidayatullah Memorial National Moot Court Competition hosted by Hidayatullah National Law University, Raipur on this 26th of March, 2017.
The moot court saw more than 27 teams from various reputed Universities across the country competed with each other for the coveted Justice Hidayatullah Memorial trophy. Over the course of many years, HNMCC has established a stellar reputation as one of India’s foremost Moot Court Competitions. Post seven successful editions based on competition law, HNMCC switched from the subject of competition law to environmental law last year, in its 8th Edition. The transition was made to draw attention towards the rapidly deteriorating state of the environment and provide impetus to environmental protection.
