Continuing on the path of excellence, we are pleased to report the establishment of the Centre on Sports Law and Policy, which will be coordinated by our faculty, Dr. Lovely Dasgupta.
The Centre is established with the objective of fostering a culture of innovation, legal scholarship, and policy-making in the domain of Sports law and its many intersections with other subjects. With an acknowledgement that contribute to this discussion has been less than enthusiastic from Eastern India, this Centre will aim not only to fill the void but also to contribute at the national and international level. This Centre will harness the potential of NUJS to contribute to the research and thought leadership of Sports Law.
NUJS aims to be a part of the solution and this Centre will be another step in that journey by virtue of introducing and working on contemporary national and international sports issues. This discourse on law and policy will go a long way in bringing change in society, one step at a time.
