NUJS emerges as runners up in the 1st NLIU-Link Legal National Client Counselling Competition 2018

In yet another significant achievement in the field of Alternative Dispute Resolution the university team comprising of Shreya Mishra and Namrata Roy has emerged as the runners up of the NLIU-Link Legal National Client Counselling Competition 2018 held between the 7th of September to the 9th of September 2018.


The 1st NLIU-Link Legal National Client Counselling Competition was organised by the National Law Institute University, Bhopal in collaboration with Link Legal with the aim of providing a platform for students to build greater knowledge of preventive law and get familiarised with the counselling functions of a lawyer. The event witnessed the presence of legal experts which included Mr. Anurag Dwivedi (partner at Link Legal), Mr. Alok Verma (retired Justice of the Madhya Pradesh High Court), Mrs. Monica Saroha (Sr. Judicial Officer), Professor V. Vijayakumar (the Director of NLIU), Mrs. Giribala Singh (the Registrar of NLIU) and Dr. Sanjay Yadav (faculty-in-charge for the MCA),Hon'ble Justice Navin Sinha of the Supreme Court, Justice Sinha and the Managing Partner of Link legal, Mr. Atul Sharma.


The finals witnessed a competitive clash between KLE Law College, Bangalore and National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata in which the team representing NUJS, Kolkata emerged as the runners up.


We congratulate all the members of the winning team and the NUJS Alternative Dispute Resolution for what has been yet another brilliant achievement in the field of alternative dispute resolution.
