NUJS E-Cell is collaborating with Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), NITI Aayog, Government of India to host the Start Smart Awards 2018. The aim is to recognize the top 3 startups each from 4 zones of India- North, South, East, West. The award ceremonies of the zones will be held in Kolkata, Chennai, Mumbai and Delhi respectively. The top 3 startups from each zone will be provided incubation support by AIM, NITI Aayog. The purpose is to encourage startups to follow smart business practices, be compliance friendly and be updated with regulations and schemes which affects them. There will be panel discussions on smart and ethical business management practices which the startup industry and MSMEs can imbibe from the beginning.
The awards will be in the following venues:
1. Kolkata: December 10 at the West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences.
2. Chennai: December 12 at the Foundation of Comprehensive Dispute Resolution (FCDR).
3. Mumbai: December 14 at the Indian Merchant Chambers of Commerce and Industry.
4. Delhi: December 15 at the PHD Chambers of Commerce and Industry.

The NUJS E-cell has always believed that the "Ideas are easy but the implementation is hard". This step is in the direction to boost the implementation and bag the kit of recognition for all the budding start ups.
