NUJS is proud to announce the commencement of a credit course on The Practice and Procedure of International Commercial Arbitration which will be offered by Mr. Ajar Rab.
The course is designed to provide the students with a chance to engage with international commercial arbitration beyond the defined tenets of Alternative Dispute Resolution taught in law schools. The course is for students who have a basic understanding of the subject but wish to engage with the practice and procedure of arbitration at a more advanced level. The course will follow a Socratic method of instruction where students will be required to have read the assigned readings in advance, and the same will be discussed in the classroom the following day.
Mr. Ajar Rab is a visiting professor at National Law School of India University and is pursuing his Doctorate from the Bucerius Law School, where his proposed thesis is on ‘Interim Relief in International Commercial Arbitration’ under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Stefan Kröll.
We would like to thank Saurav Rajurkar (batch of 2021) for helping with the organisation and co-ordination of the course.
